AIM WA produce a quarterly magazine for their members and encompasses many articles from leaders not only from around Australia but internationally too, as well as member stories. Since the rebrand, AIM WA released in conjunction with the rebrand a magazine that was designed and published by another company. Whilst I was at AIM WA, I felt though the magazine was not quite on brand and also could be elevated to a more professional management publication. So as part of this project, I redesigned the magazine as a template to hand over to the publishers to then use for future publications. I stripped back the use of 20+ fonts per publication to a single branded font, kept all typography for the articles to black only and simplified the layouts so the stories themselves were the focus, making it easier to read and most of all bringing the publication back to brand. Guidelines on story/article length were also given as previous articles were deemed too long.
